Community Clean Up Weekend

Description

We will still host the Village Community Clean Up Day, it just looks a little different this year! Lets go out, take a walk, and help keep Manteno clean and green!

-Village Hall (98 E. Third St) will be providing garbage bags at the drive-thru window the week of April 27-May 1 between 8:30-4:00 pm. (Note: you can still participate without using village-provided bags)

-Please wear gloves

-Practice social distancing while participating

-Safety first! Use sidewalks when available

-Clean up areas may include parks, Main Street area, your own neighborhood

-Once a bag is filled, tie the bag and leave it in the right-of-way at any corner; public works will pick them up on Monday 5/4

-Take pictures and share on Facebook using the hashtags #WeAreManteno #MantenoCommunityCleanUp for a chance to win a gift card to a local business (announced Monday, May 4)
